Established in fall 2025 by a generous gift, the mission of the Linda and David Bohan Center for Global Engagement is to provide opportunities to internationalize the College of Communication and Information by facilitating global research, service-learning, and educational experiences for our students, alumni, faculty, and staff.

Expanding CCI’s international reach

Our vision at the Linda and David Bohan Center for Global Engagement is to foster a global college in which CCI students, alumni, faculty, and staff are engaged in international experiences. We strive to inspire all individuals in our college to become global and culturally competent citizens and to share their international experiences not only throughout the campus, but with communities all over the state of Tennessee.

To achieve our mission, the College of Communication and Information will launch a Global Center that will incorporate three global pathways, including (1) Global Research, (2) Global Experiential Learning, and (3) Global Programs. Each of the three pathways will contribute to the Bohan Center.
