Explore CCI’s Graduate Programs
The College of Communication and Information offers two different master’s degrees, including:
- a Masters of Science in Communication and Information with five concentrations
- an American Library Association-accredited Masters of Information Sciences (MSIS)
- and a PhD with five concentrations.
For students who want to continue their higher education journey through an online program, our Strategic Digital Communication concentration is offered fully online through asynchronous courses. The MSIS can also be completed through online courses offered synchronously.
In addition to these options, both the School of Journalism and Media and the Tombras School of Advertising and Public Relations offer a Four Plus One program that allows undergraduate students to take graduate-level courses and earn both a bachelor’s and master’s degree in five years.

CCI Graduate Student Research
Gradute students at CCI have many opportunities to engage in research activities, including attending and presenting at conferences. Here are recent conferences where our students participated:
