Recruitment Opportunities
The College of Communication and Information provides a variety of ways for industry partners to collaborate with us, including posting jobs and internships, participating in our Vols Remote Internship Program, and attending recruitment events and career fairs.
Posting a job or internship
The University of Tennessee’s Handshake platform is a great way to gain access to undergraduate talent at CCI by searching resumes and posting jobs and Internships. Career fair registrations are also completed via Handshake.

Monday, Sept. 16, 2-6 pm
This fair is for students/alumni of any major who are interested in working in these industries.
Business & Government Job & Internship Fair
Wednesday, Sept. 18, 2-6 pm
This fair is for students/alumni of any major who are interested in working in these industries.
Communication and Information Career and Internship Fair
Wednesday, Sept. 25, 1-4 pm
The Communication and Information Career and Internship Fair typically brings in more than fifty-plus corporate, government and non-profit organizations seeking students/alumni for full-time entry-level positions and/or internships and/or practicum experiences.
Communication and Information Mingle
Students interested in different communication, information, sports, entertainment and media industries will learn more about available opportunities in the industry, get advice from seasoned professionals, and start developing connections within the industry in a convenient, virtual space. Students who are exploring career options and students who are job/internship searching, to everything in between are welcome!

Exploratory programs
We are always looking for partners interested in hosting short experiences where our students can learn more by spending a day on-site shadowing, completing on-site tasks, and reflecting on real work in the field. If you are interested in helping us create one of these experiences at your facility, please email us.

Show CCI students your commitment to hiring by pairing an on-campus recruiting event or job posting with an on-campus interview. You can easily request space for on-campus interviews through our job and internship platform, Handshake.
Class and Student Organization Presentations
We are always happy to help you make a connection to our student media properties and student organizations. We can also help to coordinate classroom visits and guest lectures.
