Travel with CCI
There’s no better way to help students understand the globalized market they’ll enter after graduation than by taking them off campus and immersing them in other cultures, cities, and countries.
The College of Communication and Information has made it a priority to ensure all CCI students can participate in study abroad programs, networking trips, and special courses that broaden perspectives, create unforgettable global experiences, and enhance their intercultural competence.

Networking trips
CCI’s networking trips take students to cities throughout the US where they network with industry professionals, learn about communication and information careers, and get a first-hand look inside the everyday operations of people working in business, government, and more.

Study abroad programs
Whether its learning about advertising in Rome, sports in the United Kingdom, AI in Morocco, and many other trips, our study abroad programs transport students into settings that will challenge and inspire them to step outside their comfort zones and gain new skills and perspectives.

Covering the Paralympics
A special course through the School of Journalism and Media gives students a unique opportunity to attend and cover the Paralympic games. Through a collaboration with the USA TODAY NETWORK, their reporting on para athletes and sports is published internationally.
