The Master of Science in Communication and Information, Strategic and Digital Communication (SDC) concentration is one of the only online master’s programs in the country that includes content from all college-wide disciplinary areas in advertising and public relations, communication studies, information sciences, and journalism and electronic media.

Advance Your Career on Your Time

The online concentration is tailored to the busy schedule of a working professional. All classes are asynchronous, meaning modules are prerecorded to be completed weekly or biweekly throughout the semester whenever best fits your schedule. Additionally, courses deliver a classroom feel by promoting strong collaboration and interaction between students and instructors. Whether you would like to manage websites or drive your company’s strategy on social media influencers, you pick the courses that will enhance your skills in the workplace.


Unique Interdisciplinary Curriculum

The strategic and digital communication master’s concentration requires a minimum of 30 credit hours, and offers courses from the four schools within the College of Communication and Information (CCI). Each of which offer three courses that focus on communication strategies and the digital marketplace. With no prerequisites for each course, you’re given the opportunity to craft your own unique curriculum based on your professional interests. Courses are three credit hours each. Complete in as little as two years if you take two classes a semester, including summer session.
