About The Media Center
In July 2024, the College of Communication and Information launched The Media Center, an integrated media program composed of WUOT, Land Grant Films, The Daily Beacon, WUTK, The Volunteer Channel, Ablaze Magazine, and Lumos Media Services.
The Media Center goals
Our goals are:
- to support and expand the existing media properties
- encourage collaboration and community engagement across our platforms
- more fully integrate The Media Center properties into the CCI curriculum.

Our outlets continue to excel and be recognized by regional and national organizations for the excellent work they do.
