CCI Alum Gives $4.5 Million to Establish the Alan and Wendy Wilson Communication and Leadership Academy
The importance of communication in business and leadership prompted Alan Wilson and his wife, Wendy Wilson, to invest $4.5 million to establish the Alan and Wendy Wilson Communication and Leadership Academy at UT. A collaboration between the Haslam College of Business and the College of Communication and Information, the Wilson Academy will pair industry-focused out-of-class leadership development opportunities with hands-on learning experiences, including internships, industry visits, guest speakers, and other initiatives, enabling students to understand the intersections between communication and business.
