Meredith Goins curriculum vitae (PDF)
Meredith has served as the executive director of the World Data System International Program Office since 2021. With over twenty years of management and leadership experience working with state, federal, and international scientific and academic organizations, she aims to build and support the data repository community through engagement, research, and advocacy.
She serves on the re3data working group, the steering committee for the Research Data Alliance of the United States (RDA-US), the UNESCO-CODATA Data Policy for Times of Crisis (DPTC) working group, and is co-chair of the RDA/WDS TRUST Principles Outreach and Adoption working group.
Meredith earned her Master of Science in Information Sciences from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, and her bachelor’s in communications and public relations from East Carolina University, Greenville, NC.
