Go to Atlanta with CCI this spring
Join faculty and fellow students from the College of Communication and Information (CCI) for a three-day networking trip in Atlanta March 24–26, 2026. Students will meet with industry professionals, network with alumni, and explore career options in the communication and information industry as part of this immersive, hands-on professional development opportunity.
Trip information
CCI faculty and students will depart for Atlanta on Tuesday, March 24, 2026, and return on Thursday, March 26, 2026.
Students will stay at the AC/Moxy Hotels Atlanta Midtown, 53 14th Street, Atlanta, GA 30309.
Trip itineraries will be shared with the selected students later. Itineraries will align with students’ CCI academic majors (advertising, communication studies, information sciences, journalism and media, and public relations) to maximize each student’s professional development experience.
A limited number of students can participate from each academic major.
CCI will also host an alumni reception during the trip to provide students an opportunity to connect with CCI alumni in communication and information industries in Atlanta.
Trip fee
The trip fee for each student will be $30. Transportation, hotel, and the alumni social are included in the fee. All other expenses will be paid by the student.
The college subsidizes the expenses associated with CCI networking trips to provide more students with meaningful hands-on learning and professional development opportunities.
