One of the most impactful milestones this year was the launch of the school’s first-ever study abroad experience in Morocco. Focused on artificial intelligence and information sciences, the program allowed students to engage with global perspectives on technology, culture, and innovation.
For many students, it was their first time traveling internationally and experiencing firsthand how information and emerging technologies shape communities around the world.
Students also traveled to New York City and Atlanta for the school’s first industry networking trips, connecting directly with alumni and professionals working across media, technology, and information industries. Experiences like these help students see new possibilities for their future while building the confidence and relationships that can shape their careers.
This year also marked a transformational investment in the future of the school through the establishment of the endowed Rene and Clara Said Director’s Chair, made possible by the generous support of Tony and Habibi Mamone.
