Curt C. Andreson’s curriculum vitae (PDF)
Curt Anderson transitioned from a career as a professional stage magician into academia during the pandemic. He brings his lifelong experience of creating deception and influencing people to his scientific research, giving him unique insight into the field. He received his Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies from the University of Alabama and his master’s degree from the University of Alabama at Birmingham, where Department Chair Timothy Levine was his thesis chair. He joined the doctoral program at The University of Tennessee at Knoxville, where he is working on an interdisciplinary PhD from the College of Communication and Information with a concentration in communication studies.
