C. Kuular joined the University of Tennessee, Knoxville (UT), after living in Taiwan, where she worked as a radio reporter and journalist at Radio Taiwan International (Voice of Taiwan). She holds a PhD in technology management from Yuan Ze University, where her research examined Japanese approaches to efficiency and management.

Her work has been published in the Journal of Technology Management and presented at international conferences, including the IEEE Portland International Conference of Management of Engineering and Technology (PICMET) and the Annual Meeting of the American Political Science Association (APSA).

Her research focuses on cross-cultural communication, information disorder, media influence, and news consumption, with an additional line of work centered on community engagement and public opinion. 
   
At UT, she gave a series of media literacy lectures for CCI 101 and CCI 150 classes, using comparative case studies and examples from diverse media environments.
