Information Integrity Institute Leads Community Dialogue on Media, Technology, and Connection

March 19, 2026

The Information Integrity Institute brought community members together on March 19 for a public conversation examining how today’s media environment shapes trust and connection. Held in partnership with Braver Angels Tennessee, the event centered on dialogue rather than research presentation alone.

The presentation addressed how digital media, AI, and platform design influence the way people understand information and interact with each other. The following conversation focused on the growing tension between connection and division in a media landscape increasingly driven by algorithms and user-generated content.
