Media Center Open House
Join us on Aug 17 at Room 011 in the Communication and Information Building for The Media Center’s Open House!
This event will take place during the university-wide College Connect event for incoming freshman and transfer students, but is open to all students. Learn about all the media-based student opportunities available across CCI.
Photography Basics
This entry-level workshop, led by Media Center technology coordinator, will introduce you to the basics of using a DSLR or mirrorless cameras to take professional photos for print, online, or social outlets.
Hands-on Workshop Series
Launching in fall 2024, The Media Center will host a hands-on, student-focused workshop series. The sessions are open to all students and are held in 011 Communication and Information Building from 3-5 p.m. Wednesdays. The interactive workshops will be led by a mix of industry professionals, CCI faculty and staff, and other university staff. No advanced knowledge is needed to attend.
