Kendra Albright

Clinical Professor Kendra Albright is an internationally recognized scholar and leader in knowledge management and information science. With a distinguished career spanning academia, global development, and strategic consulting, she has made significant contributions to advancing knowledge sharing, innovation, and societal impact worldwide.

Before joining the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, she served as the Goodyear Endowed Professor in Knowledge Management at Kent State University. Albright has held academic appointments in the United States and the United Kingdom and has served as a visiting professor in Brazil and Georgia. Her work with organizations such as Oak Ridge National Laboratory, the International Federation of Library Associations and Institutions, and the Knowledge for Development Partnership reflects her commitment to addressing complex global challenges.

As editor-in-chief of Libri, she helps shape international scholarship in information studies. Her research on topics ranging from HIV/AIDS information dissemination to artificial intelligence emphasizes social justice, sustainable development, and inclusive access to knowledge.
