Kyeongwon Kwon is an assistant professor in the Tombras School of Advertising and Public Relations. Her research examines how brands can adopt more effective pro-environmental and socially responsible advertising strategies, and her teaching aims to give students the practical insight they need to enter the advertising and marketing communication industries. Her research work has been published in peer-reviewed journals including the International Journal of Advertising, the Journal of Current Issues and Research in Advertising, and the Journal of Media Psychology, and others. Outside of work, she is a coffee lover. She hand-brews at home and has begun the happy task of finding Knoxville’s best local coffee shops. To offset all that sitting, she plays tennis and is working on becoming a runner.
