CCI's Brotman Gets Lifetime Achievement Award from Broadcast Association
Stuart N. Brotman, the Howard Distinguished Endowed Professor of Media Management and Law and Beaman Professor of Communication and Information, is the 2016 recipient of the Lifetime Achievement in Scholarship Award from the Broadcast Education Association. He is the first professor from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, to receive this honor.
He received the award at the BEA 2016 annual convention award ceremony in Las Vegas over the weekend. He also delivered a retrospective view of his research in a special convention session, “Creating Policy-Relevant Communications Scholarship.”
