The majority of them came from Kenya. Eight victims came from the U.S.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>On March 13, the U.S. decided to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnn.com\/world\/live-news\/boeing-737-max-8-ethiopia-airlines-crash\/index.html\">ground Boeing 737 Max 8<\/a> planes after the Ethiopian crash.<\/p>\n<p>From March 10th to March 13th, 6,400 tweets discussed the Ethiopian Airline\u2019s incident. On the first day of the incident, March 10th, the discussion reached the peak.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-695\" src=\"https:\/\/utccismcc.utk.edu\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/50\/2019\/03\/Screen-Shot-2019-03-13-at-7.56.07-PM-1024x266.png\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The majority of social influencers are media agencies, including Business Insider, Newsweek, USA Today, ABC7 Eyewitness News, and many others.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-696\" src=\"https:\/\/utccismcc.utk.edu\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/50\/2019\/03\/Screen-Shot-2019-03-13-at-7.59.13-PM.png\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>As for the top words, the majority of people talked about the incident itself, including where did the crash happen, when (e.g., Sunday), and who involved in the incident (e.g., captain, pilot).<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-697\" src=\"https:\/\/utccismcc.utk.edu\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/50\/2019\/03\/Screen-Shot-2019-03-13-at-7.30.00-PM.png\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-700\" src=\"https:\/\/utccismcc.utk.edu\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/50\/2019\/03\/Screen-Shot-2019-03-13-at-9.07.14-PM.png\" alt=\"\" \/><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-703\" src=\"https:\/\/utccismcc.utk.edu\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/50\/2019\/03\/Screen-Shot-2019-03-13-at-9.08.16-PM-1.png\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Also, people expressed their emotions online about the crash incident, using the words \u201cawful\u201d and \u201ccriminally.\u201d Overall, 80.8% of tweets contained negative sentiments. On March 10, individuals\u2019 negative sentiments significantly arose.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-698\" src=\"https:\/\/utccismcc.utk.edu\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/50\/2019\/03\/Screen-Shot-2019-03-13-at-9.13.47-PM.png\" alt=\"\" \/> <img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-699\" src=\"https:\/\/utccismcc.utk.edu\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/50\/2019\/03\/Screen-Shot-2019-03-13-at-9.44.38-PM.png\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Additionally, the company of Boeing and the 737 Max plane attracted much attention.
