Colin McCarl is from the small rural town of St. Thomas Pennsylvania. After graduating from high school, he enlisted in the United States Marines. Serving eight years on active duty as an explosive ordnance technician, spending over three years in Afghanistan. For the last several years he has worked as a first responder and a facility system specialist for the Department of Interior, out of The Smoky Mountains National Park. He is intending to stay with D.O.I. as he continues his education, pursuing a Masters degree at University of Tennessee.\u00a0\ud83c\udf93<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
