GET INVOLVED…

JOIN A PANEL- TWO GREAT TOPICS FOR TWO STIMULATING PANELS – IN-PERSON SESSION

      1. How did COVID-19 affect your research? What do you learn during your research about communication & information issues created by COVID?
      2. What makes community-engaged research so powerful? How do you get involved with community-engaged research?

Due January 24, 2022: an email stating your interest to join one of the panels and a couple sentences about what you will share. Notification of acceptance will be made no later than February 9, 2022.

FACULTY RAP (RESEARCH AGENDA PROFILE OR PAPER) – SESSIONS ONLINE & IN-PERSON

Share your research agenda or previously presented research results (2018 to now) or future research ideas! Chat with students and provide tips for being a research rock star.

Due January 24, 2022: an email stating your interest to RAP, title of your presentation with a short abstract and what times you teach on February 24th so we can schedule appropriately. Notification of acceptance will be made no later than February 9, 2022.

STUDENT RESEARCH STARS – SESSIONS ONLINE & IN-PERSON

Share your research (new or previously presented). Chat with attendees about your experience and provide tips for research participation success.

Extended Abstracts (600-1000 words) are due by January 24, 2022 for peer review. Notification of acceptance will be made by February 9, 2022. Full papers are NOT reviewed. Submissions will also be considered for acceptance as a poster.

RESEARCH POSTER KALEIDOSCOPE – SESSIONS ONLINE & IN-PERSON

Present a poster about your research/research in progress (this is a friendly space to get valuable feedback on new projects!) to compete for the Best Student Poster Award OR share a previously presented poster to start a conversation. All poster presenters will chat with attendees about their research and share tips for making a great poster.

Abstracts (250-500 words) for posters are due January 24, 2022. Notification of acceptance will be made by February 9, 2022.

      • Identify your entry as: Panel, Faculty RAP, Student Research Stars, or Research Poster.
      • Identify your preference for in-person or online for all sessions except the Panel which is in-person only.
