The Vols Remote Internship in the College of Communication & Information provides rising juniors and seniors a summer internship with a small non-profit to support social media and digital communication. The ability to work remotely removes expensive travel and temporary housing costs for our students.
Students also receive one-to-one mentorship from a CCI alum during the program, providing guidance on working remotely and digital communications best practices.
Last year, three students participated in the program. Isabel W. says, “I feel more confident in my abilities and in my future career, all thanks to my participation in this program.” Since its inception in 2020, fifteen students have benefited from the Vols Remote Internship!
You can play an important part in the success of CCI students, providing them with an opportunity to build their portfolio and support important causes across the country. Your scholarship gift to the Vols Remote Internship compensates students for their hard work during the internship. We currently have 4 students participating in the program without financial support.
Will you consider making a gift and investing in our students? A gift of $1,200 provides one scholarship.
Thank you in advance for lighting the way for our Volunteers!
