Social Media & Communications Intern<\/span><\/p>\n

The School of Advertising & Public Relations at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville is hiring a student intern to assist in social media and website content creation across multiple platforms (Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.) including the ADPR website.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Duties Include:<\/strong>
\n\u2022 Content creation
\n\u2022 Copywriting for social and website
\n\u2022 Social media campaign implementation
\n\u2022 Social media ad creation
\n\u2022 Attend weekly meetings
\n\u2022 Help manage events
\n\u2022 Assist with UT Social Media Week
\n\u2022 Assist with social media ambassadors
\n\u2022 Periodic social media takeovers<\/p>\n

Skills Needed:<\/strong>
\n\u2022 Strong writing skills with some knowledge of AP style
\n\u2022 Some previous social media management
\n\u2022 Design skills with either Creative Cloud or Canva
\n\u2022 Strong communication skills
\n\u2022 Strong organizational skills<\/p>\n

Requirements:<\/strong>
\n\u2022 Degree-seeking student currently enrolled at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville
\n\u2022 Preference will be given to advertising and public relations majors
\n\u2022 Passion for design, content creation, and social media
\n\u2022 Strong initiative to complete independent work
\n\u2022 Demonstrate a desire to learn about the School of ADPR and its students<\/p>\n

Hours per week: 10-15 per week on average. Paid internship.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Start date: Mid-August 2021<\/p>\n

\nLocated in the College of Communication and Information, the School of Advertising & Public Relations houses two of the most popular majors at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. The Advertising and Public Relations programs offer Bachelor\u2019s, Master\u2019s and Doctoral degrees. The programs are nationally and internationally recognized and accredited for the quality of their scholarship and instruction.
