Students who are changing their major to one at the Tombras School of Advertising and Public Relations need to set up an appointment with the <a href=\"https:\/\/cci.utk.edu\/advising\" class=\"ek-link\">College of Communication and Information\u2019s Office for Undergraduate Programs and Advising<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Transfer to the University of Tennessee, Knoxville<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-normal-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">Students transferring from community colleges or other universities apply for admission using the <a href=\"https:\/\/transfer.utk.edu\/apply\/\">online appli<\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/transfer.utk.edu\/apply\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">c<\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/transfer.utk.edu\/apply\/\">ation<\/a>. The university\u2019s transfer credit policy is available in the <a href=\"https:\/\/catalog.utk.edu\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">current UT catalog<\/a>. The Office of the University Registrar provides course&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/banner.utk.edu\/BannerExtensibility\/customPage\/page\/Transfer_Equivalencies\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" class=\"ek-link\">transfer equivalency tables<\/a>&nbsp;for Tennessee community colleges and universities. The tables allow you to determine how courses you are currently taking or are planning to take at other Tennessee schools compare to University of Tennessee courses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-normal-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">Please visit the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/transfer.utk.edu\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" class=\"ek-link\">Transfer Center<\/a>&nbsp;for more information about the University of Tennessee. The Transfer Center offers tours specifically geared towards transfer students, and is also open for virtual office hours using Zoom to answer your transfer admissions questions! They are available to answer any questions you have about the transfer admissions process, campus life, transfer credit evaluations, and next steps for admitted transfer students.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-normal-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">Students transferring to UT from another institution need to sign up for&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/studentsuccess.utk.edu\/orientation\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">New Vol Orientation<\/a>&nbsp;first.
