Assistant Professor Moonhee Cho and Jaejin Lee’s (Florida State U.) article, ” New insights into socially responsible consumer: The effects of personal life value and collectivism” was accepted for publication in International Journal of Consumer Studies.

Cho along with doctoral students, Ying Xiong and Brandon Boatwright, had their paper, “Hashtag activism and message frames among social movement organizations: Semantic network analysis and thematic analysis of Twitter during the #MeToo movement,” accepted for publication in Public Relations Review.

Cho also presented a paper, “UT fan’s engagement in zero-waste game day and recycling behavior,” at the Engagement and Outreach Conference, University of Tennessee on October 8.

JOURNALISM & ELECTRONIC MEDIA

Howard Distinguished Professor Stuart N. Brotman is presenting, “Disinformation and storytelling,” at Locked out of Social Platforms: An Information, Communication & Society Symposium on Challenges to Studying Disinformation, at the IT University of Copenhagen, Denmark, October 27 – 28.

Professor Mark Littmann’s play, Little Lessons for Lina, received a staged dramatic reading on Thursday, October 25 at the Knoxville Convention Center.  The performance was an official public offering, free of charge, by the American Astronomical Society Division for Planetary Sciences conference in Knoxville.
