Four CCI students completed fellowships through the 2018 Multicultural Advertising Summer Intern Program (MAIP) of the American Association of Advertising Agencies (AAAA).
Josh Oliver (BS/AD ’18) worked at Anomaly in New York City as an account manager and has been offered a full-time position. Laura Gamo (MS/C&I ’18) served as a public relations junior planner with Edelman in New York. Natalie Shinault (BS/PR ’18) worked as an account services intern for New Honor Society in St. Louis, Missouri. Advertising senior Tristiny Bell completed an art direction internship at Laughlin Constable in Chicago, Illinois.
The program engages MAIP fellows in a series of learning opportunities to develop their knowledge and skills working for advertising agencies and provides the advertising profession with access to top talent and strengthens efforts to enhance and sustain the health and wellness of the industry.
The MAIP program has been in existence for 44 years and has over 3,000 alumni. MAIP fellows have an 84% hire rate within four months of graduation.
