Faculty News September 2017Howard Distinguished Endowed Professor of Media Management and Law and Beaman Professor of Communication and Information Stuart N. Brotman has been selected to be interviewed for the new Broadcast Education Association Thought Leadership Series on Law & Policy. The video series, which began in 2016, features short video interviews (5-12 minutes) that explore each professional’s background, career path, day to day responsibilities and best practices for career success. Industry trends and key issues are also highlighted. Completed videos are posted on BEA’s website (www.beaweb.org ).
JEM Video Production Specialist Clint Elmore’s video, “In Their Own Words,” was accepted into The International Stuttering Awareness Online Conference, October 1 – 22, 2017. The video, which he produced for the UT Speech and Hearing Center, can be viewed at http://isad.isastutter.org/isad-2017/papers-presented-by/research-therapy-and-support/in-their-own-words-stories-for-the-speech-language-pathologist-from-people-who-stutter/.
