Professor Eric Haley, with co-authors D. Lee (Korea Development Institute) and T.Yun (Incheon National U.), had their paper, “What you think you know: The effects of prior financial education and readability on financial disclosure processing,” published in the Journal of Behavioral Finance, February 3, 2017, pp. 1- 18. Professor Mariea Hoy had her co-authored article (with B. Wojdynski and Nate Evans (PhD/C&I ’14) both of U. of GA), “Measuring sponsorship transparency in the age of native advertising,” published in the Journal of Consumer Affairs, DOI: 10.1111/joca.12144. She is also a finalist for the 2017 Chancellor’s Excellence in Teaching Award.

INFORMATION SCIENCES

SIS Associate Professors Bharat Mehra and Vandana Singh’s chapter, “Library leadership-in-training as embedded change agents to further social justice in rural communities: Teaching of library management subjects in the ITRL and ITRL2,” was published in Teaching for Justice: Implementing Social Justice in the LIS Classroom edited byNicole A. Cooke and Miriam E. Sweeney, Library Juice Press.
