DSLS Students Travel to Nashville and NYC

2016 DSLS NYC trip

Diversity Student Leaders Society members had two unique opportunities to network and participate in professional development activities during the Spring semester.  The following itineraries show the broad-based communication and information organizations the students explored during field trips to New York City and Nashville.

Several CCI alumni and Board of Visitors (BOV) members helped to organize the visits and/or participated in the student meetings.

Exploring NYC included a session and tour at the famous Apollo Theater in Harlem and watching the NBC Today Show broadcast from Rockefeller Plaza.

The students were also able to tour the historic Ryman Auditorium while in Nashville.
