Frances Nichols Bachstein, CCI doctoral student, will receive a certificate and cash prize for the essay she submitted to the International Journal of Nuclear Security Student Writing Competition. The title of the essay is “Janus realized: The use of social media as a means of transparency nuclear communication to the public.”
Kevin Summitt credits his class with JEM Professor Ben Bates for helping him guide a local radio station’s format change. Summitt assisted with the WNFZ-FM switch from a talk radio format to an adult-leaning alternative rock format and now works as an afternoon personality at the station.
