Daren Redman (BS/JEM ‘92) has been selected to create the 2015 Indiana Governor’s Arts Awards. Her quilted wall art piece will include hand-dyed cottons and wood from the Indiana Constitution Elm tree. She credits her degree with helping her promote her artwork by incorporating her writing and media knowledge into her art business.
CCI Board of Visitors member Tim Sellers (BS/ADV ‘88) and his inferno team received two Gold VOX Awards from the Memphis Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America at the organization’s annual gala in October. The award categories were community relations and marketing communications/promotion services. Sellers is partner and director of operations & client development for inferno, a full-service advertising, marketing, design and public relations firm.
Antoaneta Vanc (PhD/C&I ‘10) was recognized on Oct. 22, 2015 with Quinnipiac University’s most prestigious academic honor, the Excellence in Teaching Award. Vanc is an associate professor in the Department of Strategic Communication. Her first professional career was as tennis pro.
