Emeritus BOV Member Ron Harr (BS/JEM ’76) was named the “Best Chattanoogan” by The Chattanooga Times Free Press Best of the Best Awards. The award is based on votes by the newspaper’s readers. Harr recently retired from his position as President and CEO of the Chattanooga Chamber of Commerce. “I wasn’t born here, but I got here as quickly as I could,” joked Harr. “I am happy to be called a Chattanoogan – but to be called the Best Chattanoogan makes me very proud.” Prior to leading the Chamber, Harr had two corporate careers at AT&T and BlueCross Blue Shield of Tennessee.
