BOHAN Wins Ad Age Award
BOHAN, the Nashville-based advertising agency founded by David Bohan (BS/BA ’70 and member of CCI’s Board of Visitors) recently became the first Tennessee ad agency to win the Ad Age Small Agency of the Year, Southeast, Gold Award (http://adage.com/article/special-report-small-agency-conference-and-awards/small-agency-year-southeast-gold-bohan/294153/).
CCI Alumnus Receives AEJMC’s Eleanor Blum Distinguished Service to Research Award
This year’s winner of the AEJMC Eleanor Blum Distinguished Service to Research Award is University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill Richard Cole Eminent Professor Daniel Riffe (PhD/C&I ’81). The Eleanor Blum Award was created to recognize people who have devoted substantial parts of their careers to promoting research in mass communication. It is named in honor of its first recipient, Eleanor Blum, a long-time communication librarian at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
