Sharon Price John (BS/Adv ’86) has been appointed President and CEO of Build-A-Bear Workshop, Inc. (NYSE: BBW) in St. Louis. John formerly served as president of Stride Rite’s Children’s Group. BBW has more than 400 stores worldwide where customers are offered an interactive experience making their own stuffed animal. John P. Wilkin (MS/IS ’86) has been named university librarian and dean of libraries at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (UIUC). He was associate university librarian at the University of Michigan and executive director of the HathiTrust prior to accepting the position at UIUC.
Dan Hellie (BS/JEM ‘97) has been hired as the host of the NFL Network’s “signature show,” NFL Total Access.
