On Friday, April 20, Peyton Manning (BA / CS ’97 and 2007 recipient of CCI’s Hileman Distinguished Alumni Award) returned to Knoxville to be the keynote speaker at a banquet celebrating the successful conclusion of the Campaign for Tennessee. As part of his return to campus, Manning stopped by the College of Communication and Information to visit with CCI Dean Mike Wirth and School of Communication Studies Director John Haas and had his picture taken in the Peyton Manning Classroom. + read more
Comm Studies Makes the Grade
A successful Academic Program Review (APR) of CCI’s School of Communication Studies (CS) was completed during the 2012 spring semester. The team that reviewed the communication studies program was composed of faculty members from the University of Illinois, the University of Kentucky and UT Knoxville. The highly positive review report was a testament to the hard work that members of the communication studies faculty and staff have put into building the program over the last decade and in prior years. + read more
