Jaclyn Gonzales, a senior in advertising at the University of Tennessee, has been recognized as one of the 40 most talented minority students in the United States by the American Advertising Federation. 

More than 360 students in the College of Communication and Information earned a spot on the dean's list for their academic achievement during the fall 2008 semester.

For someone so steeped in the digital age, it's ironic that School of Information Sciences Professor Carol Tenopir, a member of the inaugural class of Chancellor's Professors, has a house full of books.

College of Communication and Information students now have even more study abroad options due to the recent establishment of CCI's "Summer in Cyprus," study abroad program.
