Do you know your audience?
Submitted by John McNair on October 12, 2009 - 3:26pm
So now keynotes and other presentations are subject to comments and simultaneous feedback DURING THE PRESENTATION. Here's a cautionary tale about a speaker not knowing his audience and not using current references at the Social Media Conference “HighEdWeb 2009: Open. Connected” The Twitterati certainly jumped on him.
"Gold font on gray backgound w/ 1990 drop shadow makes babies cry. Should we stage intervention #heweb09"
Another post about the event calls it "The Great Keynote Meltdown of 2009"
Ouch. Don't let this happen to you, kids.
