UT alum receives PRSA honor

UT alum and graduate in Public Relations and Journalism Karen Buchsbaum has been named the recipient of the Bill Adams PRSA Lifetime Achievement Award. The award is given by the Miami chapter of the Public Relations Society of America.
Buchsbaum now works as a consultant in the field of health care marketing and public relations. She has been a member of the organization since her days at the university.
"I am very honored to receive this recognition from my peers," Buchsbaum said. "I have been proud to call myself a public relations professional."
Buchsbaum was honored at a PRSA luncheon in Miami on Oct. 2.
