Bio
Dr. Kupritz teaches courses in qualitative research methods, ethnographic research methods, organizational teams, and organizational communication. Her professional and educational experiences bring an international, multidisciplinary perspective to the study of organizational communication that combine business, anthropology, environmental psychology, and workforce training and development. Dr. Kupritz has travelled the world extensively. Some of these travels have resulted in her co-founding of the first architectural department for females in Saudi Arabia. Dr. Kupritz is nationally recognized in both the scientific community and industry as a leading expert in communication privacy management. Dr. Kupritz’s research has appeared in academic journals such as the Journal of Environmental Psychology, Human Resource Development Quarterly, Journal of Asynchronous Learning Network, Educational Technology & Society, and the Journal of Architectural and Planning Research. Dr. Kupritz’s research has been featured by industry in Office Products International and Business Daily Investors. Her grant and contract work include Gulfstream Aerospace, Inc., BSD Data Corp., the American Cancer Society, and Haworth, Inc. Her honors and awards include UT’s Chancellor’s Award for Excellence in Teaching, was selected to attend the Women’s Leadership Program at the Center for Creative Leadership, and she has received first place research awards in workplace aging issues and online instruction and learning. She is actively involved in the National Communication Association, the Environmental Design Research Association, and the Academy for Human Resource Development.
