The School of Communication Studies at the University of Tennessee is dedicated to a scientific approach toward understanding the processes involved in interpersonal and organizational communication.
Founded in 1987, the School consists of a dynamic and interdisciplinary faculty focusing on human communication occuring within interpersonal and organizational contexts. Communication Studies offers a degree program at the undergraduate level and participates in the College-wide master's and doctoral level programs. The faculty is fully committed to prepare undergraduate and graduate students for positions of leadership across a broad range of careers and occupations.
